Orlando guard Cole Anthony revealed an internal oblique muscle damage

The Team dealt an additional severe blow on Thursday morning to an Orlando Magic club that was already suffering from a number of ailments.

Orlando guard Cole Anthony underwent imaging after the Magic’s away game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the results revealed a right internal oblique muscle injury.

Anthony’s readiness to resume playing will depend on how he handles therapy and treatment. Anthony is scoring 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists through four games this season.

The third-year guard has had a strong season despite missing the Team’s debut due to illness. 

Unfortunately, his injury occurred when Orlando was already without several of its backcourt players. Gary Harris is recovering from a left knee injury, Markelle Fultz is out with a broken big toe on the left foot, and Jalen Suggs has a sprained right ankle.
