Guard Max Strus of the Miami Heat was previously written off when he initially entered the NBA. He is now recognized as an asset.
When Strus missed the Heat’s next two games due to a shoulder injury, they learned how much they missed him. In the Heat’s victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, he made a comeback and scored 16 points.
Strus made 4 of 10 three-point attempts.
Erik Spoelstra, head coach of the Heat, remarked, “He unquestionably picked up where he left off.” “Those 3s were key, but he does several good things for us defensively. Whether we’re in the zone or the man, he simply, times, ends up in the ideal area because of his size. He assists us on the glass.”
Strus is one of the athletes making their way back after an injury. Jimmy Butler and Duncan Robinson both have ankle injuries and are still out for the Heat (ankle). Both have been out for a while, but they might be able to play against Boston Celtics this Wednesday.
According to Spoelstra’s analysis of the health reports, “everyone is heading in the correct direction.” Because of this, other players have had a chance to stand up. “At the end of the period, you have to find various solutions to win in this league,” he said.
