Kyle Lowry of the Miami Heat is regarded as one of the finest players in Toronto Raptors’ history.
As a result, facing his previous squad will always be an emotional experience for him. The Heat plays the Raptors in Toronto on Wednesday.
“Seeing the elevator employees, security people, and familiar individuals who don’t travel when I come back here,” Lowry added. “That’s the most important thing, and then I’m looking forward to seeing the supporters I used to see when I played here. Those are the folks I’m looking forward to seeing.”
Lowry was a member of Raptors from 2012 to 2021 before being dealt to the Heat in exchange for Goran Dragic and Precious Achiuwa. Before departing Toronto, he helped lead the Raptors to the 2019 NBA title.
Lowry stated that he still believes in the organization.
“I still have my people on this team,” he remarked. “I genuinely support my teammates, Freddy (VanVleet), O.G. (Anunoby), Pascal (Siakam), and I just enjoy watching how they’ve evolved and become better individual basketball players and men.”
