Tyler Herro injury update

Heat coping with Tyler Herro’s injury ahead of their upcoming road trip

November 16, 2022

As Tyler Herro is not going with the team, the Miami Heat will begin their upcoming road trip without one of their best scoring weapons. The rookie shooting guard is dealing with an ankle issue, and it’s unknown when he’ll recover.

The Heat will face the Raptors in Toronto to kick off their trip. Before coming home, they will fly to Minnesota, Cleveland, and Washington. Tyler Herro might rejoin the squad sometime during the road trip, but it is still being determined what will happen to him.

Until this point, the Heat’s 20222-2023 season has been average. Tyler Herro, though, is only scoring a little under 20 points a game. He contributes significantly to Miami’s offense and shoots over 37 percent from beyond the arc. In Herro’s absence, the Heat will have to rely on shooters like Max Strus and Caleb Martin. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo will keep leading the charge in the meantime.

Despite Tyler Herro’s absence, the Heat won their final home game against the Phoenix Suns on Monday night. With a crucial block on Devin Booker, Jimmy Butler came to the rescue and gave Miami the victory. The Heat will have a 7-7 record going into their upcoming game. After a dismal start to the year, they are starting to play a compelling brand of basketball.

How they do on their road trip will be intriguing to see. We will continue to follow up as new information becomes available regarding Tyler Herro’s condition.
